We're used to Elon Musk and Sam Altman taking shots at each other, but for the next month or so, their fight is moving to a courtroom! Musk is seeking billions of dollars in "wrongful gains" over claims that Altman's OpenAI - which the two co-founded - abandoned its original non-profit mission. As for OpenAI, the ChatGPT-maker is arguing that Musk is just bitter because he walked away from the company AND he's trying to hurt a competitor. Get your popcorn out, folks! Speaking of billionaires, the union behind the "2026 Billionaire Tax Act" in California has announced that it's obtained enough signatures to get the measure onto the ballot in November. If it passes, the roughly two hundred billionaires in California could be hit with a one-time five percent tax. All told, this would gain the state about a hundred billion dollars. And once again, the White House is calling for Jimmy Kimmel to be fired. but this time, Kimmel isn't having it! In the wake of Melania Trump's attack on the comedian, here's what he had to say in his monologue Monday night... That does seem to sum up the situation pretty well. but I suspect we haven't heard the end of this. Those are your headlines, don't go away!
